ADA and Cultural Support
The goal of any transportation facility should be to provide the best possible travel experience to all passengers. This includes those with disabilities, or who may not speak Englsh as a first language.
Over seven million passengers with disabilities travel through US airports every year. Yet airports and airlines rarely comply with the bare minimum requirements of the Americans with Disabilities Act when it comes to passengers with sensory disabilties. This means most airports are breaking the law and probably don’t even know it.
To be in compliance, an airport needs to provide the same amount of information given to passengers without disabilities, to those that have them. At AV-ation, one of our core goals is to improve travel for those with hearing, vision, and cognitive impairments.
And what about the nearly 20% of air travelers that don’t speak English as a first language? If you aren’t providing multilingual support, how are those travelers supposed to have their best possible passenger experience?
Our Unified AV solution makes integrating the systems required to meet ADA compliance and provide multilingual support affordable, easy to integrate, and simple for everyone to use!
